Ok. As far as the charm swap goes, I have been waiting to hear from several people. So, when they all get here, I will swap them out and send your freebie too. My dad starts his radiation treatments next week. Our daughter has been at dance camp this week. Our oldest son had his senior pictures taken this week. Band camp starts next week for him. I am trying to get ready for Art Unraveled. As far as the new stamps go, I am way, way behind on that due to my life and it’s craziness as well as the birthday bash fiasco. This has done nothing but drive me crazy. After I went thru all the trouble of decorating each envelop to give it a personal touch……half of them were RETURNED to me and the other half were lost by the stupid postal system. I will scan a picture later with the note they put on the ones they sent back to me so you can see for yourself what a freakin nightmare this has been. So, needless to say, I will have to repackage them and resend the ones that were returned to me. I have all ready been out several hours on putting them together and several dollars. So, I am so frustrated I could scream. But, I won’t. I have made a decision that when school starts back up, this year, I am going to finally spend some time on myself. It is about time. Way past due. I am going to eat healthier and lose weight. I am actually looking forward to it. I am now ready….. So……I don’t know when I will get a chance to post again. More than likely, it will be after Art Unraveled. That will be around Aug. 14th………and, our kids start school on Aug.16th. So, until I post again, may all your dreams come true. Enjoy life. The due date for these is THIS WEEKEND!! Please, if you signed up, follow thru. The work on the charms received is just wonderful. They have put their heart into it and I would hate to see any broken hearts for people dropping out!! I will be out of town this weekend. If you need to have an extension, that is fine. Just please keep me informed! I have been so busy that my head is spinning. So, please send them in.
I can’t believe it. I am finally finished. I think I have learned a lesson. Lots actually. One is, when I give out stuff again, I will stick to that amount and not say….oh, ok! Sure, no problem. Not only did I decide to spray each envelope with the glimmer mists, I then stamped each envelope. Anyway, I am so glad to get this project done. I also finished my bird pages (53) for a group I belong to called fatbooks. 4 by 4 art. You can see it if you go to my space and look at the art. Our family had a nice 4th of July celebration. I am SICK, SICK, SICK of the rain. I am so very thankful that we have not flooded. I am not going to sign up for any swaps for a little while. I enjoy doing them. But, I need to focus on bringing out my new stamps, finishing the catalog (again) and just getting caught up. For those of you that don’t know, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He starts his radiation on the 15th of this month. So, between doing 3 shows in the month of June, getting sick, spending time with my dad and my kids being home for the summer……..that is why it took me awhile to get the birthday bash stuff sent out. When I can, I will share with you the 2 or 3 things people were kind enough to send me.Gotta run for now ~
