NEW ART CONTEST! Will you win??!!

Filed under: Uncategorized — by eclecticomnibus @ 8:10 pm

OK. Being that I am sick of being sick……… here is my new adventure. In order to be entered for my next giveaway you must list what your new years ART resolutions are. Leave your post on my blog. I will do the drawing at the end of Jan. to give all a chance to enter and me a chance to get well all the way.

This drawing consists of a SURPRISE piece of art by me as well as a small asst. of other goodies. GOOD LUCK. I will list what the winner won, as well as post a picture AFTER the winner’s name has been drawn.

What are my ART resolutions:

To do a collage once a month. To work on more classes to teach this year. To take time to enjoy working on my new images coming out soon. My goal is to have the new images out by March.

On the not art side: to lose weight this year. to stay healthy and try to not get sick. Will try to think of a few more later.

  1. Mine are to:
Do art every day, even if its just 15 minutes……and, open an Etsy shop and start selling some of my collages.
Thats it for my “Art resolutions” ….other than that, its to give myself more credit (hard for me to do) and to give up my Diet Pepsi LOL

  3. Hmmm – I guess I have a couple:

get my art room organized (I have too much stuff, it’s too crowded, and it’s stifling my creativity)

continue working in my art journal every day (well, almost every day . . .)

  4. To do more stamping and to reach out to other stampers for support and positive feedback. Not getting that from family.

  5. To say YES…if artists ask me to join them in a collaborative adventure I will say YES. If I find a class that I should take I shall say YES to my souls longing…

AND organize my studio so I can find things I need and not RE-buy because I can’t find it in my creative mess! LOL

  6. My main resolution is to start a personal art journal, just for myself. I also want to try to do one main collage project each month. I also want to finish organizing my “studio”. It is an never ending project!

  7. My goals for my art is to do more altered art. Also, to allow more time for me to work on my own art. Since I do vendor samples and write a monthly article I want to spend more time designing and creating. I would, also, like to do an altered book. My personal goals are to continue to grow personally and to lose weight.

  8. My main resolution is to work in my art journal VERY regularly (like everyday if possible) and to narrow some of my yahoo art groups down to just a few that I love.

  9. This year I will participate in less swaps and work on improving my own art and the things I really want to create.
I will also be a little less impulsive in my purchase of supplies. Get it because I will use it.

  10. I want to give myself the gift of doing art for myself, not just for swaps. I’d also like to work on creatively displaying various mail art projects so I can enjoy them more often once they make it back home.
